 Become a tutor

How to become a tutor

Do you think it was the coolest thing to be on the cabin trip? And do you think those funny and quirky tutors were too nice? AND if you have a little event planner in your belly, then you should apply to become a tutor for the FN.

What does it take?

  • You must be a member of the FN (or FB if you study Biology-Biotechnology)

  • You need a lot of time for planning and arrangements

  • You must participate in the RIK Instructor Course (only first-time tutors)

  • You must attend a first aid course (compulsory for all tutors every year)

  • You must take part in compulsory tours/events such as Prærus, Postprærus and Hyttetour etc.

What do you get out of it?

  • Memories for life

  • Lots of new acquaintances

  • Colorful clothes (Amen to tights and leggings)

  • Experience with planning, structuring and holding large events

  • Experience with handling people in different situations

  • You can write it on your CV

  • You will receive a diploma from the institutes PLEN and IFRO, which help to coordinate the cabin trip.

If you are still completely hooked on becoming a tutor, you just have to show up at the information meeting, which will take place at the beginning of December. You will then have the opportunity to send your application to the tutor contacts for the FN and FB.

More info will come during block 2  here on the website and on various facebook pages and groups.
